Merchandiser/Planner Opportunity

Located in the Bedfordshire area, a leading business is seeking a skilled Merchandise Planner to join their team. With over 30 years of experience across various product categories, including arts & crafts, toys, and play, this company offers a great opportunity for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze sales data and maintain accurate MRP and forecasts with the Supply and Demand Manager.
  • Hold regular forecast reviews with NAMs to ensure a clearly defined monthly process for new and continuity products.
  • Review in-market sales performance vs forecast vs inventory and adapt purchase plans to avoid overstocks or poor availability.
  • Manage the shipping process from PO generation, tracking, and shipping, keeping the business and SAP systems updated.

Requirements:

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft packages, with a good understanding of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent knowledge of planning tools and a good working knowledge of MRPs and SAP.
