Research and Development Technician

Join our team at EssilorLuxottica, a global leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and sunglasses. As a Research and Development Study Technician in Analytical Chemistry, you will play a key role in supporting innovation by intervening directly in R&D programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and anticipate the analytical means necessary for R&D programs.
- Maintain a high-level analysis service based on advanced techniques in analytical chemistry, such as identification, quantification, and GC chromatography.
- Write, capitalize, and regularly archive analysis reports in Word or PowerPoint, ensuring they are saved in the R&D Aodocs tool.
- Gradually take charge of some studies or R&D programs.
- Higher National Diploma (Diploma Advanced Technician) or Bachelor of Sciences.
- Experience in maintenance and monitoring GC techniques, knowledge of laboratory techniques in chemistry.
- Data analysis experience – analytical profile.
- Good command of MS Office (including Excel, PPT).
- Very good English and French proficiency.
- Agile, adaptable, and willing to learn – able to deal with new challenges and implement new solutions/approaches.
