We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer General Studies to join our department Train design, specifically for our team "General Studies". As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading projects and tenders, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of our products.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Working on project and tender activities such as layout, gauge, weight, car/car clearance, and car/bogie clearance
- Writing calculation notes for projects or customers
- Preparing specifications for type and serial tests
- Planning and managing activities and deliverables following the development quality cycle
We are looking for someone with 2-3 years of experience in mechanical aspects for rolling stock products and knowledge of standards such as UIC 505-1, EN 15273, and EN 15663. Proficiency in software such as Excel, Catia V5, and knowledge of Visual Basic and DMA are also beneficial.
As a Mechanical Engineer General Studies, you will be part of a matrixial organization, working on international projects and collaborating with diverse teams. English is a key competency for this role.
