About the role:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team at Meetic. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality, scalable, and maintainable backend applications. Your primary focus will be on implementing business logic, designing and developing APIs, and ensuring the overall technical integrity of our systems.
Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Develop and maintain the backend applications, including the Meetic and Match apps, which handle user and business data.
- Quality Assurance: Implement unit and functional tests to ensure the long-term quality of the developed software.
- Technical Leadership: Contribute to the development and maintenance of tools necessary for building and deploying the backend applications.
- Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends, propose improvements to the technical stack, and make recommendations for the maintainability and coherence of the system.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to organizing developments within the team, develop technical solutions that meet the needs of Match, Meetic, and their users, and self-organize tasks to provide visibility into their progress.
Requirements:
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in developing applications at scale, with at least 2-3 years of experience in C# and .Net development.
- Soft Skills: Passionate about software engineering, curious, creative, open-minded, and convinced by Agile principles.
- Language: Fluency in English, both written and spoken, and the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment.
