The Core RFP Team
RFP, or Request For Proposal, is a critical component in engaging clients and prospects. It involves the comprehensive tendering process, including questionnaires, documentation, and presentations, that asset managers utilize to secure new client mandates.
The Core RFP team, located in major financial hubs, is part of the AXA IM Core investment platform, focusing on liquid assets such as Fixed Income, Equity, and Multi-Asset portfolios.
This team engages with both prospective institutional and distribution clients, managing everything from client questionnaires to pitch presentations for final evaluations. The team's goal is to produce high-quality, successful RFPs while adhering to strict client timelines. Our proposals encompass a wide array of liquid products and strategies, including customized and innovative institutional solutions that reflect responsible investment principles.
Being part of the Core RFP team means collaborating closely with portfolio management and sales teams, as well as various stakeholders within the organization (risk, operations, etc.) in a project management capacity.
Given the team's coverage across Europe, the United States, and Asia, this role offers an exceptional opportunity to gain insights into the operational framework of one of Europe's largest asset managers and to acquire extensive knowledge about our product offerings and the markets we engage with.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute significantly to the capital raising efforts for mandates and pooled funds, primarily targeting major institutional investors.
- Take charge of the entire production process for RFPs and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), from initial drafts to final submissions.
- Craft precise, engaging, and client-oriented RFP responses that effectively showcase our firm and investment solutions.
- Foster strong, effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including Institutional Sales teams and Portfolio Managers globally.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of liquid investment products (Equity, Fixed Income, and Multi-Asset).
- Collaborate with various business partners to gather data and address inquiries (e.g., Sales teams, Portfolio Managers, Responsible Investment experts, Investment Specialists, Trading, and other departments).
- Ensure strict compliance with review, documentation, and record-keeping protocols (RFP Reporting).

- Degree in Finance or Business Management.
- Previous experience in the financial markets sector is advantageous.
- Proficient in French and English (knowledge of an additional language is a plus).

- Strong analytical skills and product knowledge.
- Ability to articulate and detail investment processes and financial solutions.
