Job DescriptionThis Senior Product Validation Engineer position is based in the Sophia Antipolis office in France, part of the Connectivity Systems Business Unit (CSBU). As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the system validation and debug of UWB, BLE, and MATTER solutions dedicated to Qorvo connectivity products.
You will work closely with Qorvo's product definition and solution architecture teams, as well as with software development and integration teams. Your responsibilities will include defining and executing product validation plans, developing and maintaining end-to-end test environments, implementing automated test scripts, integrating test environments with CI/CD pipelines, and continuously improving test environments.
You will also be responsible for documenting test environment configurations, setup, and usage procedures, providing training and support to other engineers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, and supporting product certifications as needed.
In addition, you will analyze test results, defects, and issues, and provide regular reports to project stakeholders. You will collaborate with the Product Definition team and Solution Architects to define and implement validation strategies for new products and features.
Requirements and Qualifications- 10+ years of relevant industry experience
- Proven track record in product validation, testing, and quality assurance in the field of wireless communication technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Strong knowledge of radio communication systems and standard bodies (3GPP, Wifi, BLE or other); knowledge of UWB is a plus
- Expertise with Python programming, experience with C/C++
- Technical understanding: embedded systems, real-time OS/firmware, network & RF software layers, embeded security and secure element
- Android experience will be a strong plus (Linux Kernel, HAL, Android flow, Java/Apk)
- Ability to read HW schematics, use oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and RF tester equipment
- Ability to work autonomously

- Likes to work in complex projects involving multiple parties and work packages spread among several teams and stakeholders
- Work across different cultures
- Ability to travel to APAC and USA (up to 20% time)
As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience.
