About the RoleThe Product Validation Engineer will contribute to the system validation and debug of UWB, BLE, and MATTER solutions dedicated to Qorvo connectivity products. This role requires close collaboration with Qorvo product definition and solution architecture teams, as well as with software development and integration teams.
Responsibilities- Review and define the Product Validation Strategy
- Execute the product validation plan, delivering end-to-end Test Plans and Product KPIs
- Perform integration and testing of systems embedding Qorvo UWB and BLE modem chipsets
- Participate in plug fests and certification campaigns
- Work with partners on joint E2E validation benches
- Analyze bugs and raise tickets to hardware and software development teams
- Degree in engineering school or Master's degree
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- Expertise in Python programming, experience with C/C++ programming
- Technical understanding of embedded systems, real-time OS/firmware, network & RF software layers, embedded security, and secure element
- Android experience is a strong plus (Linux Kernel, HAL, Android flow, Java/Apk)
- Knowledge of radio communication systems and standard bodies (3GPP, Wifi, BLE, or other); knowledge of UWB is a plus
- System test and methodology
- Ability to use oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and RF tester equipment
- Ability to work autonomously
- Team player
- Likes to work in complex projects involving multiple parties and work packages spread among several teams and stakeholders
- Work across different cultures
- A problem-solving approach and a strong desire to see the customer succeed
- Ability to travel to APAC and USA (up to 20% time)
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
This role offers an estimated salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
