Key Responsibilities
- In the role of Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be tasked with addressing any security incidents across both IT and OT environments.
- Your mission will be to safeguard the Imerys brand and its reputation from cyber threats through proactive measures and monitoring activities on the internet and dark web.
- You will oversee the administration and implementation of the Security Operations Center (SOC) platform, including XDR, CTI, and Mobile Security Solutions.
- Your duties will include conducting security investigations and executing queries.
- You will serve as a strategic liaison for IT colleagues and end-users.
- Your role will involve optimizing the cybersecurity program and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives.
- As a security authority, you will ensure adherence to security policies within your specialized area.
- You will support and monitor the operational application of security standards.
- Your responsibilities will include ensuring the establishment of security standards and coordinating their validation.
- You will monitor infrastructure risks, ensuring harmonization and security.
- You will play a role in aligning the cybersecurity practices of acquired entities with Imerys standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proficiency in both French and English is essential.
- A background of 3 to 6 years in Cybersecurity and incident response is required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of security solutions is necessary.
- In-depth understanding of cloud technologies, including SAAS, PAAS, IAAS, and CASB.
- Significant experience with Endpoint Detection & Response solutions is expected.
- Extensive experience with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) is required.
- Familiarity with firewalls, preferably Palo Alto/Panorama.
- Experience in forensic analysis is essential.
- Relevant security certifications such as CEH, GCIH, GRID, and CCSP will be advantageous.

- Ability to communicate effectively across various organizations and countries within Imerys.
- Capability to collaborate with multiple project managers and engineers, including senior leadership and peers.
- Experience working in diverse, multicultural environments.
- Proficiency in organizing and coordinating operations related to global solutions within a multi-local organization.
- Expertise in managing and coordinating projects involving various aspects of information systems: hosting, networking, applications, systems, and security.
- A proactive approach and a mindset geared towards continuous improvement.
