About the Role:
CryptoNext Security is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Embedded Systems Development Engineer to join our R&D team focused on cryptography and the development of security products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the R&D team to define the technical architectures of our products, anticipating short and long-term technical developments.
- Cyber-hardening of embedded environments to ensure the highest level of security.
- Develop low-level software for microcontrollers, including bare-metal development.
- Design and develop lower layers (boot, drivers, etc.) while considering the constraints of the embedded environment.
- Develop and execute unit tests to ensure the quality of our products.
- Produce documentation for security certifications (FIPS, Common Criteria, etc.).
- Monitor technology and innovation trends in embedded systems to stay ahead of the curve.
- Maintain expertise in development environments for embedded systems.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree or equivalent (Computer Science, Cybersecurity) with successful experience in the field.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to analyze and synthesize, multidisciplinary teamwork, autonomy, rigor, innovation, and the ability to learn.
- Fluent English language skills to communicate, document work, and make presentations.
- At least 3 years of experience in low-level software development.
- Technical skills in C language, bare-metal development, and Linux systems.
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective planning and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Terms of Employment:
- Based in Paris, with a hybrid work arrangement.
- Full-time position.
- CDI (Contrat à Durée Indéterminée) under French Law.
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
