Geismar, a global leader in railway solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Study Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of engineering studies, including circuit and hydraulic systems, as well as mechanical studies and calculations. This will involve managing a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results within budget and timeframe.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. They will possess excellent technical skills, including knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software.

The successful candidate will be a strong leader, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of engineers and technicians. They will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results within budget and timeframe.

  • Ensure the effective use of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent technical skills, including knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of engineers and technicians.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
