Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Agent to join our team at the CHU de Besançon. As a Logistics Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy's logistics and technical activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, control, and track pharmaceuticals from receipt to storage and distribution to healthcare units.
  • Participate in the maintenance of specific areas (cold rooms, freezers, refrigerators, and narcotics storage) and equipment.
  • Coordinate the flow of medications based on their allocation (returns, cytotoxics, reconditioning, and clinical trials).
  • Conduct inventory and stock management, alerting supervisors to any anomalies that may lead to stock shortages.
  • Prepare and distribute bulk solutions and participate in and secure the organization of deliveries to healthcare units by external providers.
  • Handle and process returns of medications from healthcare units.
  • Maintain and clean specific areas, workstations, and equipment.
  • Deliver medications to healthcare units as needed (depannage and St Jacques).
  • Dispose of waste through appropriate channels.
  • Participate in the management of adverse events and incidents.

Requirements

  • Formal education: CAP, BEP, or BAC. Possession of a driver's license (Permis B) and CACES 1,3,5 certification is desirable.
  • Knowledge of the site and institution.
  • Knowledge of healthcare services and the organization of deliveries.
  • Understanding of the use of computer tools.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations.

Desirable Skills

  • Ability to apply procedures related to the securing of the medication circuit.
  • Ability to apply procedures related to hygiene and maintenance of areas and equipment.
  • Sensitivity to stock management and warehousing concepts.
  • Ability to detect anomalies during receipt, control, and unpacking of medications, as well as during transportation and storage.
  • Ability to alert preparers of any information related to stock status that may prevent stock shortages.
  • Ability to detect and resolve anomalies, potentially involving specialized skills.
