About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Expert to join our Group Chief Underwriting Office as part of our Pricing Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing, enabling, and driving profit and growth through Product Underwriting Strategy, Portfolio Design, and Technical Underwriting Excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure Market Leading Technical Pricing in P&C Retail products
  • Participate in Pricing Technical Reviews and execute thorough reviews on Pricing Strategy, Adequacy, Governance, Tools, etc.
  • Support Portfolio Management Processes through initial buildout to Metrics validations, Strategic Plan, and actions' validation to achieve desired profitability for P&C Retail Products.
  • Enforce the execution of the Pricing Policy including best practices and technical standards for governance.
  • Address Regulatory Pricing Topics related to Health products and develop actions plans to respond to legal and regulatory changes and ensure fairness.
  • Stay abreast of and appropriately communicate knowledge of industry changes, specifically changes that affect pricing.
  • Share expertise on product pricing methodologies, including pricing algorithms, pricing parameters, and advanced pricing techniques.
  • Engage closely with members of CUO, Entity Underwriting, and Pricing members, Reserving, TDO, and Finance to improve pricing accuracy and overall business performance.

About You

  • Actuary, Data Scientist, or equivalent experience
  • Extensive Retail P&C experience in pricing
  • Ability to directly influence strategy and portfolio management, as well as setting the technical culture
  • Proven experience interacting with Senior leaders and evolving in matrixed environments
  • Experience in driving change and building relationships
  • Proven experience in leading multicultural and multifaced geographically diverse teams is a plus
