About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Expert to join our Group Chief Underwriting Office as part of our P&C Retail team. As a key member of our pricing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that drive profit and growth for our Retail business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies for P&C Retail products, ensuring market-leading technical pricing.
  • Participate in pricing technical reviews and execute thorough reviews on pricing strategy, adequacy, governance, tools, and more.
  • Support portfolio management processes through initial buildout to metrics validations, strategic plan, and actions' validation to achieve desired profitability for P&C Retail products.
  • Enforce the execution of the pricing policy, including best practices and technical standards for governance.
  • Address regulatory pricing topics related to Health products and develop action plans to respond to legal and regulatory changes and ensure fairness.
  • Stay abreast of and appropriately communicate knowledge of industry changes, specifically changes that affect pricing.
  • Share expertise on product pricing methodologies, including pricing algorithms, pricing parameters, and advanced pricing techniques.

Requirements
  • Actuary, Data Scientist, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive Retail P&C experience in pricing.
  • Ability to directly influence strategy and portfolio management, as well as setting the technical culture.
  • Proven experience interacting with Senior leaders and evolving in matrixed environments.
  • Experience in driving change and building relationships.
