Job Description

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and delivering electrical projects within our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Company Director, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from client interaction to technical execution.

Your Responsibilities
  • Project Management:
    • Develop competitive proposals tailored to client requirements and site conditions.
    • Prepare detailed quotes and sales proposals, ensuring accuracy and profitability.
    • Manage project expenses diligently, tracking finances closely for optimal resource allocation.
    • Handle client invoicing promptly and follow up on payments to ensure timely cash flow.
    • Proactively address and resolve any issues that may arise during project execution, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Business Development:
    • Actively participate in business development initiatives to expand our client base and market reach.
    • Develop comprehensive commercial action plans to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets.
    • Contribute to accurate sales forecasts, providing valuable insights for strategic planning.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients, fostering trust and loyalty.
    • Identify client needs and propose tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements.
    • Negotiate deals within authorized limits, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Provide expert technical solutions based on client specifications and industry best practices.
    • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and advancements in the electrical field.
    • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of industrial electricity systems and regulations.
    • Maintain a strong understanding of relevant industry standards and codes.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Ensure effective project execution by coordinating team resources and allocating tasks efficiently.
    • Motivate and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
    • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and expertise.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Quality & Safety:
    • Prioritize safety and quality on all projects, adhering to strict protocols and regulations.
    • Propose continuous improvement actions to enhance operational efficiency and minimize risks.
Qualifications

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Project Manager with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial electricity projects.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Development Manager or equivalent role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering electrical projects on time and within budget.
