Global Merchandise Coordinator
At Bensussen Deutsch & Associates, we're looking for a detail-oriented Global Merchandise Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll work closely with account managers to source products that meet our clients' expectations and goals through the power of merchandise. Your responsibilities will include creating product presentations, maximizing profitability through proper quoting, following project delivery, and working closely with the sales team to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with assigned account managers to drive BDA value and meet customer needs.
  • Attend client meetings to understand client needs and brand expectations.
  • Create documents for sales proposals, correspondence, and management reports.
  • Update and maintain orders through internal systems.
  • Source products and ideate based on differentiation strategy and client needs.
  • Monitor project progress and maintain deadlines.
  • Research, create, and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Negotiate costs to maximize profits.
  • Collaborate with the sales, production, creative services, supplier services, accounting, warehouse, and other teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain exceptional attendance and punctuality.
  • Able to handle multiple responsibilities with competing deadlines.
  • Maintain high levels of professionalism.
  • Exhibit high levels of service to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Other job duties and projects as assigned.

Required Skills and Traits

  • Customer Service skills, including ability to work effectively with clients.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Basic project management skills.
  • Ability to learn and maintain processes while working in a fast-paced environment, with changing priorities.
  • Expert interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Exposure to negotiation skills.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales or sales support – ad specialty, merchandise industries, a plus.
