We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Amadeus Channel Manager Direct (ACMD) team in Nice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Channel Manager product, which connects tens of thousands of hotels with various distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities- Test Strategy and Planning
- Attend specification and architecture reviews to provide feedback and identify potential issues
- Define test strategy and test plan, ensuring compliance with CI/CD guidelines and quality standards
- Test Execution and Automation
- Design and write test cases, prepare test environments, and execute tests
- Assess the need for test automation and contribute to the improvement of the test automation framework
- Defect Management and Reporting
- Open and manage defects, assign severity levels, and provide investigation and information to fix defects
- Report and communicate test activities to stakeholders, providing visibility on testing campaigns and milestones
- Knowledge Sharing and Quality Assurance
- Share knowledge on technical and functional topics with the QA community and other stakeholders
- Propagate quality assurance best practices and standards within the team and quality communities
- Technical/functional knowledge and experience in quality assurance
- Knowledge of the Amadeus business and its relation to quality assurance
- Ability to work with moderate guidance and direction from a manager
