Our Software R&D
Our software R&D is based out of 5 countries, including multiple sites in France and the European Research Laboratory in Grenoble. As part of our admin lab team, you will install, administer, and maintain development servers used by R&D teams working on HPC and AI, based on the latest HW technologies developed in-house by Eviden and its partners.
Your Mission
We are seeking a System & Network Engineer for HPC to join our expert team. Your mission will be composed of:
- Systems monitoring and ensuring the up and running status of all lab infrastructure and HPC & AI clusters
- Installing, updating, and configuring software, firmware, and hardware
- Evolving system and infrastructure architectures to accommodate new hardware
- Assisting developers when they encounter availability issues on the lab
- Driving the improvement of products developed by the Software R&D team
Your Profile and Skills
We are looking for a candidate with a higher education degree in Systems and Networks oriented Computing, with experience in Linux Administration and mastery of the following technologies/environments:
- Linux Operating System (RedHat, SUSE)
- Scripting (Python/Perl/Bash)
- Network administration (Ethernet, InfiniBand...)
- Configuration management (Puppet, Ansible)
- Virtualisation (KVM)
- Containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Data base (Postgresql, MySQL)
- Monitoring (Centreon, Grafana/Prometheus)
- Backup
- Version management tools (GIT)
Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of HPC, Slurm, Luster, and storage is a plus. You should have an appetite for hardware and be known for your team spirit and natural leadership. Curious and dynamic, you should know how to be proactive. Your technical English should be fluent.
