Our legal team is seeking a Corporate Legal Advisor to deliver comprehensive legal support to our Operations & Services Division, focusing on Construction, Maintenance, and Distribution activities throughout the Voltalia network.
This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a qualified and seasoned commercial/contracts attorney to join a thriving renewable energy enterprise, contributing to our international green energy vision and mission.
Key Responsibilities:
· Representing the organization in responding to third-party client tender requests
· Conducting legal analysis, drafting, and negotiating both national and international agreements for the construction and operation of renewable energy facilities (EPC, O&M)
· Acting on behalf of the organization to assess and mitigate risks, drafting and negotiating contracts related to distribution activities, including agency, distribution, and partnership agreements
· Representing the organization in legal disputes; providing counsel on legal matters such as claims from customers and suppliers, pre-litigation, and litigation
· Offering general legal support for the organization’s needs; drafting correspondence, policies, contract templates, and legal documents; ensuring precise legal guidance is provided and that procedures comply with current local laws and regulations
· Staying informed about changes and developments in case law, contract law, liability, public procurement, and local legislation
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience Background in Projects (Construction & Maintenance) Strong understanding of contract law and construction law Familiarity with common law Proficiency in French or Portuguese is advantageous Fluent in EnglishEssential Skills:
· Ability to identify and analyze key issues while maintaining a broad perspective
· Collaborative team player with a business-oriented mindset
· Proven negotiation capabilities
· Ability to work independently while under the guidance of the legal manager
