We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Manager to join our team at McCain Foods. As a key member of our Global Sustainability Procurement department, you will play a critical role in driving our company's environmental sustainability goals and strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sustainable procurement strategies to reduce our environmental footprint.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize opportunities for environmental improvement.
- Lead supplier engagement and negotiations to ensure successful adoption of sustainable practices.
- Monitor and report on progress towards environmental targets and goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- 7+ years of experience in corporate sustainability, with a focus on procurement and supply chain management.
- Proven track record of success in engaging suppliers on environmental topics and developing sustainable procurement strategies.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in English, with additional European languages a plus.
