Android QA Specialist

Worldline is a leading innovator in the payment technology sector, shaping the way the world conducts transactions. We're seeking a skilled Android QA Specialist to join our In Person Payment - Gateway team and contribute to the development of our brand new Android payment device.
About the RoleAs an Android QA Specialist, you'll be responsible for testing the Android payment device and collaborating with our French development team and Indian development and QA teams. You'll work closely with our team to create the first release and subsequent ones, ensuring the highest quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in daily meetings to share progress and blocking points with your peers.
- Understand detailed requirements and define the best strategy to test components against those requirements.
- Automate component tests using Kotlin.
- Deliver tested software to End to End QA to minimize defects found later in the qualification process.
- Participate in demos to other stakeholders, including Product Owner and Technical Leader.
- Contribute to the success of releases and propose technical/functional enhancements to the team and Product Owner.
- Maintain and update tests to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
- Participate in Agile processes and ensure adherence to the Definition of Done.
- Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in software testing with automation experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in payment device development.
- Knowledge of Android development environment, including Android Studio and Kotlin.
- Knowledge of Gradle on Android.
- Excellent knowledge of source control tools, such as Gitlab.
- Knowledge of Agile processes, including SCRUM.
- Excellent technical English, both spoken and written.
