Join Our Android Team at Worldline

We are seeking a talented Android Developer to join our team at Worldline, a leading player in the payment technology sector. As a key member of our In Person Payment – Gateway team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our brand new Android payment device.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project, creating the first release and subsequent versions of our Android payment device. You will collaborate with our French development team and Indian development and QA teams to deliver high-quality software.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in daily meetings to share progress and blocking points with your peers.
  • Understand detailed requirements and define the best strategy to create code that meets those requirements.
  • Write code and unit tests to achieve good code quality.
  • Deliver runnable software to testers and ensure it meets requirements.
  • Prepare and organize demos for stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the success of releases.
  • Propose technical enhancements to the team and Product Owner.
  • Maintain continuous integration and respect the Definition of Done.
  • Participate in Agile processes.
Requirements
  • Master 2 in computer science or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development with expertise in Kotlin on Android.
  • At least 3 years of experience in payment device development.
  • Knowledge of Android development environment, Android Studio, and Gradle.
  • Excellent knowledge of source control tools like Gitlab and Agile processes like SCRUM.
  • Excellent technical English, both spoken and written.

  • Ability to work fast and with quality in an international environment.
  • Ability to share knowledge with others.
  • Able to understand Worldline's needs and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Flexible and adaptable to delivery challenges.
  • Willingness to increase experience in Payment and/or Android.
  • Autonomous and able to self-organize in daily work.
  • Strong team spirit and excellent relationships.
