The Enterprise Risk Manager - Capital and Business Risk Management will report to the Team Lead, 2LoD Capital and Business Risk Management within the Enterprise Risk Management function and work closely with other Enterprise Risk Managers for deliverables across the Group.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and drive critical reviews and challenges of ICAAP deliverables as a 2LoD opinion on governance, capital adequacy, capital planning, and stress testing scenarios.
- Work on interactions between ICAAP/ILAAP and other strategic processes to encompass SREP requirements.
- Participate in the development of the stress testing framework, ensuring consistency with ICAAP & ILAAP frameworks.
- Challenge assumptions and decisions relating to stress test scenarios to ensure sound capital and liquidity management.
- Coordinate the annual update of the stress testing framework, including stress testing scenario development and integrated stress testing results.
- Knowledge of prudential regulations and ability to translate regulatory requirements for implementation within strategic processes and projects.
- At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in risk and capital management in the financial services industry, preferably in risk management or audit.
- Ability to drive key deliverables and review the calibration of risk appetite indicators.
- Knowledge of the regulatory and risk environment in the financial sector or regulatory/supervisory guidelines.
- Experience in capital management projects and analysis of new regulatory frameworks.
- Understanding of risk management frameworks, including financial and non-financial risks.
- Advanced degree in finance, economics, risk management, or equivalent.
- Relevant work experience with roles in risk management and capital management, particularly with capital planning, SREP, ICAAP, and stress test.
