Primary Objective of the Role / Key Responsibilities

The Facilities Operations Manager at ISS serves as the primary contact for clients and the ISS account team, overseeing the management, operation, and upkeep of engineering infrastructure, systems, and assets at client locations throughout France. This role is pivotal in ensuring client satisfaction by implementing operational methodologies (best practices, Group and country standards) that promote enhanced growth, profitability, and client retention. The Facilities Operations Manager will collaborate closely with our business partners in France to guarantee the highest quality of facility management services for our Global Clients.

Responsibilities Include:

Client Engagement:

Ensure client satisfaction regarding facility operations

Act as the in-country escalation point for client representatives concerning facility services

Develop and sustain strong client relationships

Operational Management:

Oversee the operation of buildings, technical infrastructure, engineering systems, and assets, including all designated critical environments, in accordance with established SLAs

Ensure effective management, operation, and maintenance processes for buildings, technical infrastructure, engineering systems, and assets

Drive continuous improvement and optimization of processes and utilities

Maintain planned reactive and predictive operational costs within budgetary constraints

Collaborate closely with ISS Business Information Systems, IoT, and data analytics

Ensure adherence to relevant legislation, regulations, and standards

Maintain accurate asset condition and lifecycle information to support capital investment planning

Essential Qualifications:

Proficient in both French and English Degree in Engineering or equivalent Familiarity with engineering infrastructure, assets, and systems Understanding of critical environment management and processes Experience in managing and delivering operational and maintenance services Knowledge of applicable legislation, regulations, and standards in France Expertise in energy and utility optimization, asset replacement, and upgrade project management Strong Computer Literacy Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, preferably within a corporate setting
