Job Summary
The Application Support Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance of business applications at Visa. As the primary point of contact for troubleshooting application issues, this individual is involved in all stages of application development and operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Monitoring and Maintenance: Ensure the operational excellence of business applications, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients during the resolution of application incidents, ensuring they are kept informed of progress and the status of their incident.
- Collaboration and Facilitation: Facilitate communication between the IT team and clients during application upgrades and deployments, ensuring all parties are informed and any concerns are addressed.
- Troubleshooting and Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, utilizing strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Documentation and Knowledge Management: Maintain documentation related to application operations, ensuring that knowledge is shared and retained within the team.
- Application Development and Testing: Assist with application development, testing, and upgrades, collaborating with IT team members and stakeholders to improve application performance and functionality.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, database management systems, operating systems, and application lifecycle management tools.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Language Skills: Native level proficiency in French and high proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
