Your Role:
- Conduct thorough visual and endoscopic inspections of generator systems.
- Execute robotic inspections to assess critical components.
- Perform precise mechanical controls and measurements to identify potential issues.
- Carry out comprehensive electrical tests on windings, ensuring optimal performance.
- Conduct high voltage tests on insulation to guarantee system integrity.
- Prepare detailed technical reports documenting findings and recommendations.
- Diagnose breakdowns and meticulously analyze their root causes.
- Propose effective solutions and collaborate closely with engineering teams to implement them.
- Communicate your findings clearly and concisely to clients, fostering strong relationships.
- Supervise repair work, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
Your Qualifications:
- A solid foundation in electrical engineering principles.
- Proven experience in the maintenance of alternator systems within a power generation environment.
- A comprehensive understanding of electrical systems and their operation.
- The ability to travel frequently to client sites as required.
- A valid driver's license.
- A highly autonomous and proactive work ethic.
- Fluency in both French and English, enabling effective communication with diverse teams.
- Resourcefulness, reactivity, and a strong problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
