About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Digital In Store - Data team at Decathlon Digital EN. As a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, you will play a key role in revolutionizing Decathlon's in-store activities by providing insights to digital teams and contributing to the development of our in-store tool ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Build Industrialized BI Dashboards: Design and develop industrialized BI dashboards to generate insights for Decathlon's Instore ecosystem, including store performance, efficiency, automation, experience, checkout, and staffing.
- Partner with Stakeholders: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Product Managers and Data Managers, to understand their needs and translate them into relevant BI reporting.
- Own the Lifecycle of Dashboards: Proactively own the entire lifecycle of dashboards, working closely with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Analytic Engineers to ensure data visualization performance.
- Document and Maintain Dashboards: Work on the end-to-end documentation of data visualization deliverables and maintenance practices.
- Participate in Tableau Project Management: Participate in Tableau project management for the Instore domain, mentor junior BI Engineers and Data Analysts, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 3-7+ Years of Experience: 3-7+ years of relevant industry experience with Tableau, working in a tech platform, consulting, or a scaled retail environment.
- Agile Methods: Experience with Agile methods.
- Business and Quantitative Background: Background in both business and quantitative fields, such as Business Intelligence, Statistics, Econometrics, or Engineering.
- Language Skills: Fluent English and French language skills.
- SQL and Analytical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of SQL and analytical knowledge.
- Desired Skills: Experience with DBT, experience in Retail, and certification from the first year (AWS, GCP, etc.).
