Axens is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join its Project Operations Business Division. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in process engineering, with experience in design, development, and optimization of complex processes.
About the Role
The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for leading and managing projects within the Process Department, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. The successful candidate will have a degree in chemical engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the refining, petrochemical, or gas industry. Key skills and qualifications include process modeling, equipment specification, process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, process control, and safety. A fluent level of English is mandatory, with additional languages appreciated. Fluency in working in an international environment and collaborating with multicultural teams is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects within the Process Department, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Develop and implement process design and development strategies, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct process modeling, equipment specification, and process flow diagram development, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with the Process team to design and develop modular units, license projects, and new technologies.
- Participate in new market development, contributing to the growth and success of Axens.
- Travel internationally for technical meetings, seminars, and site visits.
Requirements
- Master's degree in chemical engineering or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in process engineering, with a strong background in design, development, and optimization of complex processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international environment.
- Fluent level of English is mandatory, with additional languages appreciated.
