About the Job
We are seeking a Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our Estimation team in Paris. As a key member of our onshore-offshore engineering division, you will be responsible for managing technical packages, including process gas compressors, turbo-generators, and emergency diesel generators.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue technical specifications and requisitions for inquiry and purchase
- Conduct technical bid evaluations of vendor bids
- Manage vendor technical follow-up and review vendor drawings
- Attend equipment performance tests at vendor workshops
- Collaborate with other services to centralize requests, clarify needs, and solve technical problems
About You
To succeed in this position, you will need a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in equipment management within the oil and gas or industrial field. You will be organized, have excellent communication and decision-making skills, and be able to adapt to various project cultures.
Requirements
- Fluent English language skills
- Ability to travel for work in France and abroad
- Mastering API Codes & Standards related to rotating machinery is a plus
