About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Strategic Market Intelligence Intern to join our EMEA Strategy, Strategic Pricing & Market Intelligence team. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate on projects focused on key strategic initiatives for the company, including market research, competitive analysis, and business development.

About Your Responsibilities:

The internship is structured around three main axes:

Market Intelligence:

  • Conduct in-depth research on the prestige beauty market, analyzing trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Contribute to strategic monitoring efforts by gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing market and competitor data.
  • Develop comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing findings and providing actionable intelligence to management.
  • Participate in projecting the EMEAI prestige beauty market to support the construction of the long-range plan and secure sustainable market share gains.

Business Management:

  • Support the development and implementation of business strategies to drive growth, profit, and improve market position.
  • Evaluate financial data to identify areas for improvement and support the formulation of 'what-if' scenario-driven financial enhancement strategies.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and profit by Brands, Affiliates, Categories, Channels, and business development activities.
  • Perform scenario-based analysis to evaluate the financial implications of strategic actions, facilitating informed, data-driven decisions.

Corporate Strategy:

  • Assist in the formulation and revision of the Regional strategic plan, ensuring alignment across Affiliates, Brands, and Channels.
  • Engage in cross-functional teams to execute strategic projects and initiatives that support the company's overall strategy.
  • Participate in strategic planning, offering analytical support and insights to guide decision-making processes.
  • Assist in the management and execution of strategic projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.

Requirements:

About You:

Minimum Education Level: Minimum Master degree (Bac 4/5) from a Business School, Engineering School, or University.

Specialized in Finance/Management/Information technology.

Minimum Years and Area of Experience: At least one previous experience.

Required Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required.

Licenses or Certifications: Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint (Power BI is a plus).

  • Ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of/interest in consumer goods or luxury goods industries recommended.
