Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Manpower NANTES INDUSTRY is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for its client, ArcelorMittal.

As part of a shift team, your primary responsibility will be to perform corrective maintenance on mechanical systems within steel production facilities.


  • Manage assigned maintenance tasks,
  • Execute corrective maintenance activities following established procedures (including roller replacements, shear adjustments, lubrication, boiler making, hydraulics, and pneumatics).
  • Replace defective components in accordance with operational protocols and safety regulations.
  • Document maintenance activities or visits through our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Suggest enhancements to maintenance schedules, working conditions, and equipment performance.
  • Aid in boosting the reliability of our systems while minimizing maintenance expenses.
Ideally, you possess a technical diploma and have substantial experience in the maintenance sector.
Proficiency in computer skills is advantageous.
Attributes such as teamwork, eagerness to learn and advance, good listening skills, punctuality, organizational abilities, and the capacity to interpret technical drawings are essential.

  • Contract Type:
Long-term temporary position

Working Hours:
6 teams (4X8 cycles) on a 12-week rotation, including 2 weeks of daytime shifts.
3 working days - 2 rest days / 4 working days - 2 rest days / 3 working days - 3 rest days. Potential for extended assignments.
Some weekends may require work.
