Statkraft Energias Renovaveis SA is seeking a skilled Energy Origination Specialist to join our team in Paris, France. As a key member of our Southern European Origination team, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing structured energy transactions with embedded optionality in the French markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Originate and negotiate renewable energy transactions with large buyers of electricity
- Contribute to the scaling up of the portfolio of non-standard power, multi-commodity, and guarantees of origin contracts in the French market
- Develop and maintain relationships with upstream generators, IPPs, project developers, investors, banks, utilities, and merchant traders
- Work closely with the Origination and Portfolio Management team members to grow and optimize the portfolio
- Manage the entire deal approval process with internal stakeholders and take full front-to-end ownership of implementation of new deals and products
Requirements:
- University degree in economics, engineering, business, or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional work experience in energy markets, preferably in the French power market
- Experience with non-standard power contract terms, including long-term renewable off-take agreements/PPAs and master trade agreements
- Strong understanding of European power market fundamentals, interconnections, generation assets, market players, and market regulations
- Fluent in French and excellent communication skills in English
