Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Automation department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the automation part of HVDC projects, from tender stage to delivery completion.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers from the automation department, representing different technical disciplines.
- Ensure good interaction, coordination, and information flow between all project stakeholders.
- Manage multiple contracts with customers and sub-suppliers.
- Work closely with project directors, controllers, planners, and contract managers to manage the project and periodically report and present status and progress in review sessions.
- Travel 5 to 10 times per year, representing Hitachi Energy in the best of ways.
Your Background
- Background as technically proficient project manager or commercially proficient project engineer with experience from projects in the energy sector.
- Strong sense for business, comfortable with customer meetings and technical negotiations, interested in and understands contracts and a strong sense of responsibility for safety and business ethics.
- Proficient and fluent in English is required since you will be part of an international setting where you will need to communicate with people from all over the world.
