Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Asset Operation Solutions team at EDF Renouvelables. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading engineering studies in mechanics and structures for the operation and maintenance of onshore and offshore wind farms.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement technical solutions to improve the safety and performance of production assets (wind farms or solar parks).
- Participate actively in the digital transformation of mechanical engineering activities.
- Conduct failure analysis, design, and retrofit studies.
- Communicate study results to stakeholders.
- Provide expert mechanical engineering support to maintenance teams and asset managers on a global scale.
- Contribute to the return of experience from production assets.
- Participate in inspections of wind farms or solar parks.
- Develop procedures, operating modes, and intervention reports.
- Participate in technical interventions or testing on production assets.
- Ensure technical interface with partners, interveners, and consultants.
- Participate in R&D programs.
- Develop quotes related to the activity.
- Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office and have knowledge of SAP.
- Be rigorous, autonomous, structured, and methodical, with excellent communication skills.
- Have a strong interest in digital tools and technologies.
- Be able to work at heights above 100 meters.
- Be willing to travel within France and occasionally internationally.
