Job Description

Job Summary

Framatome is seeking an experienced Industrial Planning Engineer to join its Factory Planning department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for creating and managing the factory schedule, ensuring compliance with production start dates and meeting customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) in line with the priorities of the factory's various projects, ensuring their progress and timely completion.
  • Plan medium to long-term activities for each resource, supporting short-term planning and ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with various factory departments (design, purchasing, production, methods, projects) to resolve any blockages in activity preparation and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Communicate the schedule and challenges to project managers and project planners during project meetings, ensuring effective project coordination.
  • Conduct comparative analysis between the SAP schedule and various project schedules using P6, addressing challenges to the Project Scheduler and ensuring accurate project planning.
  • Participate in the Review of Missing Parts (RDM) meetings with all stakeholders (design, purchasing, production, etc.), ensuring timely resolution of missing parts and minimizing project delays.
  • Contribute to the development of the Production Development Plan (PDP) in coordination with the Manager, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Contribute to the improvement of operational processes in the profession, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field, with significant experience in industrial planning (minimum 5 years).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify workload/delivery impacts on production planning and project schedules.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to actively participate in various meetings and promote exchanges between participants.
  • Proficiency in ERPs, especially SAP, and experience with Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) tools.
  • Ability to analyze and compare different planning databases used by the factory, particularly Primevera/SAP.
  • Contribution to the improvement of MRP planning processes and participation in high-stakes nuclear projects.

  • Knowledge and skills in planning, with a strong understanding of production planning and control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project planning tool, Microsoft Office, and Primavera.
  • Excellent customer focus, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with multiple site stakeholders.
