ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Logistics Operations Specialist, you will oversee and ensure optimal service delivery to a diverse client base.
Your responsibilities will encompass the entire product lifecycle, from initial development to the product's conclusion.
You will serve as the primary liaison for Sales, Product Managers, and Client logistics teams, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to achieve operational excellence.
With a holistic understanding of the business and supply chain dynamics (both upstream and downstream), you will also coordinate with various supply chain departments, including Distribution Centers and Suppliers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver exceptional service to your assigned clients, managing the process from order placement to delivery.
- Act as a vital internal partner, providing insights to optimize flow and reduce supply chain costs.
- Coordinate with other supply chain departments, including Distribution Centers and Supply Planning.
- Oversee inventory levels for which you are responsible.
- Assist colleagues in resolving exceptional circumstances that may impact customer delivery timelines.
- Report on supply chain performance metrics to management and clients, including On-Time In-Full (OTIF), carbon footprint, and cost efficiency.
- Facilitate the preparation of monthly revenue forecasts and financial closing activities.
- Manage the reconciliation of transport invoices to assess cost implications at the item level.
- Propose sustainable logistics solutions aimed at minimizing environmental impact.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and digital transformation, leading cross-functional projects.
- Independently manage transport requests, ensuring all necessary documentation is handled appropriately.
QUALIFICATIONS:
We are seeking a Logistics Operations Specialist with international experience, a structured approach, and a results-driven mindset.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A Master's degree (minimum level 4) in Supply Chain Management.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, with a focus on client and flow management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel skills, and a digital orientation.
- Fluency in both French and English; knowledge of Dutch or Chinese is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- A background in multitasking with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A resilient, proactive personality with an entrepreneurial and innovative approach.
