Looking for a challenging role in a dynamic and innovative company? Vestas is a leading renewable energy company with a strong presence in France, and we're seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team.

As a Service Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the optimal performance of our wind turbines, working closely with our clients to deliver exceptional results. Your mission will be to optimize our clients' wind farms during their life cycle, ensuring the maximum capacity of the wind turbines.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out curative maintenance of the turbines to optimize their performance, following our Quality, Safety, and Environment standards.
  • Ensuring a smooth operation of our turbines and controlling the operation of the different elements of the wind turbine at all stages of intervention.
  • Performing preventive maintenance of the turbines according to current rules or work instructions, including complete refurbishment of turbines.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BTEC Higher National Diploma, BTS/DUT industrial or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering certification, preferably certified by the BZEE certification.
  • 2-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or electricity, with knowledge of high voltage.
  • Good communication and team spirit skills.
  • A solid commitment to safety and the ability to work at height.
