The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join their Development Team. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role involves overseeing the development of wind, solar, and battery storage projects, from site identification and land acquisition to securing permits and preparing for construction.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and analyze potential sites for new projects, considering electrical network infrastructures and landowner negotiations.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including local communities, authorities, and elected officials.
- Lead the Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR) process and planning stages through to pre-construction handover.
- Conduct financial modeling and support the development of business cases for acquiring wind, solar, and energy storage projects.
- Support the Construction and Asset Management teams during the initial service phases.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and provide regular management reports.
- Master's degree in engineering, planning, or business administration, with a focus on renewable energy, environment, or project management.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, with experience in wind farm development being a plus.
- Proficiency in GIS/AutoCAD is advantageous.
- Highly motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, adaptable, and efficient working style.
- Excellent communication, social skills, and leadership ability.
- Integrity, ethical standards, and sound judgment.
- Intellectual curiosity, passion, and self-motivation.
- Full clean driving license, with regular travel required for fieldwork and occasional trips to Headquarters.
