Network Configuration Intern

SiPearl is a European company that specializes in the development of high-performance, low-power microprocessors for supercomputing and AI inference. Founded in 2019 with the support of the European Union, SiPearl is working in close collaboration with its 30 partners from the European Processor Initiative (EPI) consortium.

The company is building Rhea, a new generation of microprocessors that will target the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking ecosystem. SiPearl employs over 190 people in France, Germany, Spain, and Italy, and is part of the French Tech Next 120 programme 2024 class.

In this role, you will work closely with Louis Duret-Robert, our Digital System Engineer. The purpose of the internship is to continue the development of a network on chip dedicated to IP/subsystem configuration and status by adding enhancements and connectivity improvements.

During this internship, you will have to define requirements, develop a development plan, develop functional modules, write regression tests, and document your work.

• A good understanding of modern CPU architecture
• Good learning capacity
• Good writing skills
• Familiarity with Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL, and C languages
• Familiarity with RTL simulation and waveform debug
• Fluency in English is a prerequisite for success in this role
