Job Description

Naval Safety Nuclear Studies Engineer
  • This is a permanent position focused on conducting nuclear safety studies for our submarine programs.
  • Your responsibilities will include:
    • Conducting in-depth studies on general security and nuclear safety protocols specifically related to submarines.
    • Supporting system engineers in understanding the criticality of security and safety requirements throughout the design and development process.
    • Ensuring the definition, launch, and ongoing monitoring of necessary actions to achieve specified security and safety objectives for our submarine projects.
    • Managing subcontracted studies as needed to ensure comprehensive coverage of all relevant aspects.
    • Contributing to strong client and partner relationships by providing clear communication and technical expertise.
    • Providing valuable feedback to internal teams to continuously improve safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as nuclear engineering, nuclear physics, or risk management.
  • Ideally, you will have at least one year of experience in a related area within the defense industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously while maintaining a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
