Winsearch, a recruitment and HR consulting firm, is partnering with a client that specializes in creating and producing solutions for logistics facilities. This family-owned SME values human relationships and innovation, currently employing around 200 individuals.
About the Role:
In response to expanding operations, the company is looking for a technician to oversee the installation and commissioning of equipment, particularly focusing on electrical tasks, at various client locations. Key responsibilities include managing installations (interpreting plans, performing startup tests, etc.) and acting as the primary liaison and representative for the organization. The role requires travel from Monday to Friday across the national territory and possibly to nearby countries, engaging with end clients such as industrial firms, e-commerce businesses, and logistics centers. Weekly visits to the headquarters in Tourcoing are also part of the role. The compensation package includes a base salary along with bonuses based on hours worked, travel time, accommodation allowances, and additional incentives for weekend and off-hour work, overtime, profit sharing, and gift cards.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have a background in installation or maintenance, preferably within the industrial or logistics sectors. The position involves electrical responsibilities, so experience in industrial electricity and/or electrotechnics is highly desirable. Given the constant interaction with clients, a proactive approach and excellent customer service skills are crucial. The technician will also contribute significantly to identifying opportunities for enhancements and innovations, collaborating closely with the teams at the headquarters in Tourcoing (engineering and production departments).
