Continuous Improvement Engineer Role
In this position, you will be tasked with executing and overseeing continuous enhancement initiatives within a manufacturing environment, aimed at improving production quality, reducing costs, and minimizing lead times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the continuous improvement strategy within the manufacturing sector (World Class Manufacturing)
- Analyze production efficiency to uncover potential areas for enhancement (timing, flow analysis, workstation arrangement, ergonomic assessments, etc.)
- Implement the 'Workplace Organization' aspect of the WCM continuous improvement methodology utilizing Lean tools: Assess the current situation, Identify inefficiencies, Determine root causes of inefficiencies, Mitigate waste sources, Propose solutions to minimize losses
- Execute and supervise enhancement solutions at workstations
- Assist operators during transitions, alternating between periods in the company and training sessions
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in fields such as project management, logistics, production management, or general engineering
- Excellent organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Inquisitive nature and self-sufficiency
- Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for proposing solutions
- Proficiency in Office software
- Valid driving license and access to a vehicle
Additional Information:
- Contract type: apprenticeship or professionalization contract
- Duration: 24 months
- Compensation: determined based on age and educational background
