Job Title: Nuclear Measurement Technician
The Process and Technology division offers specialized knowledge in essential fields crucial for the enduring functionality of facilities. The Measurements and Nuclear Characterization Service delivers technical support and maintenance within its expertise to:
- Enhance and modify industrial tool efficiency to align with production requirements while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Support the longevity of facility operations throughout the necessary duration at optimal overall costs.
In the context of the Nuclear Restart initiative, Orano aims to extend the operational lifespan of its plants beyond 2040. To assist in this objective, the Measurements and Nuclear Characterization Service is in search of a Nuclear Measurement Technician.
- Examine technical documentation from suppliers regarding Process Nuclear Control equipment to pinpoint potential discrepancies based on historical, current, and anticipated operational modes.
- Evaluate operational insights from active plants to comprehend the aging processes of Process Nuclear Control equipment.
- Offer expert assessments on the extension of this equipment as part of the post-2040 sustainability project for the plants.
These expert assessments may necessitate modifications to existing equipment or unique operational procedures.
- Conduct or supervise technical analyses concerning the development, adaptation, or optimization of installed equipment.
- Collaborate with project teams focused on the sustainability of installations and initiatives led by Program Management aimed at modifying and/or establishing facilities.
