About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Underwriting Governance Specialist to join our team at AXA. As a key member of our Group Underwriting Office, you will play a critical role in driving the performance of our insurance portfolio and supporting our focus on technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Technical Underwriting Governance (Risks & Controls) Communications Framework to support our strategic roadmap.
  • Deliver communications plans and assets for critical Underwriting Governance and Risk Appetite updates.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Technical Underwriting Governance (Risks & Controls) Communications Tools, including:
    • GUO Intranet site
    • Communication email tools
  • Ensure consistency of the GUO SharePoint site(s) ecosystem, with the objective of simplifying and homogenizing our Communication tools and usages.
  • Develop a strategy for how GUO stores and communicates Underwriting Risk Appetite changes with entities, support in the cascading of Group Standards, Policies, Rules & Guidelines, withdrawal from Products, etc.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Technical Excellence / Underwriting Governance Communications Asset creation:
    • Plan, edit, write, and manage engaging global internal Technical Underwriting communications and campaigns across various communication platforms.
    • Develop/support global internal presentations, scripts, messages for senior leaders as required.
  • Additional responsibilities:
    • Ensure the effective delivery of regular and ad hoc GUO reporting on Technical UW Platform communications delivery and communications KPI/Insights on communications sent.
    • Act as a contact for AXA Group Communication, Brand & Sustainability function.
    • Work closely with AXA Group CUO stakeholders' and AXA Group Communication, Brand & Sustainability function to identify, plan, and support internal communications.
    • Play a supporting role in the delivery of strategic projects and initiatives, as directed by the Head of Group CUO Transformation & Operations.
    • Support the AXA Group Chief Underwriting Officer's, Chief of staff with the following tasks when required:
      • Events organization (townhall, seminar)
      • Organise, co-ordinate and facilitate the GUO LT weekly meetings
      • Organise, co-ordinate and facilitate the GUO ExCom monthly committees
      • Build and send out the quarterly GUO Newsletter
      • Work with the Chief Underwriting Officer's personal assistant to pro-actively prepare for meetings and speeches
    Requirements

    • Background in Underwriting / wordings preferable.
