Our expertise spans Cloud, Data Centre operations, Networking, Cybersecurity, BI and Data Warehouse, Big Data, Service Desk, Proactive Monitoring, Operations and Support, Service Management, Project and Programme Management, and Professional Services.
Key Responsibilities:- Network Solutions Architect: Design, install, and configure network solutions, including switches, firewalls, routers, load balancers, SDN solutions, VPN, network protocols, and network encryptors.
- Network Maintenance: Implement routine maintenance schedules and troubleshoot network issues.
- Orchestration and Automation: Implement and operate orchestration/automation tooling to maintain and extend network solutions.
- Network Management: Implement and operate network management, reporting, and monitoring tooling.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and solve network issues.
- Network Software: Implement and operate network-related software providing shared services.
- Network Backup and Restore: Implement network backup, restore, performance tuning, and analysis.
- Network Documentation: Produce and maintain network technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Network Security: Protect data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures.
- Wireless Network Installations: Plan, install, test, and conduct surveys of wireless network installations.
- Education: Bachelor Degree in a relevant field of interest.
- Certifications: Network and/or wireless Certification, including CISCO Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) and/or CCNA-Wireless (CCNA-W) and/or Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CNWA) or equivalent WLC and WAP, CISCO ACI.
- Expertise: A network SME with extensive detailed design expertise.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of network infrastructure hardware and software.
- Problem-Solving: Makes a significant contribution to the investigation, diagnosis, and resolution of network problems.
- Technical Skills: Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers.
- Security: Secure layered tunnelling, VPNs (including client-based and site to site).
- Networking Fundamentals: Good technical knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network engineering.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting of Ethernet based telecommunication networks.
- Customer Service: Ensures that all requests for support are dealt with according to set standards and procedures.
