We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier - PT at Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting sales, and maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment.
Key Responsibilities- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Ask each customer for cash donations at the POS to support our mission.
- Establish or identify prices of goods using our inventory management system.
- Complete closing procedures, including counting and reconciling cash and credit card transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, adhering to our visual merchandising standards.
- Stock merchandise in designated areas, ensuring a visually appealing and well-organized store environment.
- Utilize our paging system to make regular announcements and communicate with colleagues.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to Goodwill's safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with customers.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.
