Business Data Analyst

The Business Data Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between the Data and business teams. This individual is responsible for understanding the needs of the Procurement department and providing tailored solutions. With a strong analytical mindset, the Business Data Analyst uses data-driven insights to inform business decisions and drive growth.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain data-driven business analysis skills to address complex problems
- Prioritize business requirements based on corporate objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business needs and requirements
- Analyze data requirements and participate in solution design with the technical team
- Develop and deploy data visualizations and reports to inform business decisions
- Interpret key business data sets and provide actionable insights
- Work cross-functionally to develop data-driven strategies that improve business processes and decision-making
- BS/BA Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-5 years of experience in data analysis and preparation, including experience with large data sets
- Mathematical skills to collect, measure, organize, and analyze data
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, R, and Python
- Knowledge of database design, development, and data modeling
- Experience with data visualization and algorithm development
- 3+ years of experience in a management or executive role
