Job Description
As a key member of the Safran Aircraft Engines team, we are seeking a highly skilled Fonderie Team Manager to lead our Fonderie Center of Competence. This role will be responsible for managing a team of experts in various fonderie processes, including:
- Fabrication and control of ceramic cores
- Fabrication and control of wax models
- Assembly of wax models
- Ceramic shell molding
- Fusion
- Ceramic shell removal and deburring
- Deburring and cutting
- UGV
- Finition
- CND
The main objectives and missions of this role are:
- Pilot the deployment of the Fonderie Center of Competence within the Safran Aircraft Engines Industrial Excellence Center
- Constitute and manage the Fonderie Center of Competence team
- Ensure the transversality of the Fonderie Center of Competence across the Industrial Excellence Center, particularly by addressing issues and problems from other centers of excellence
Key Responsibilities
The Fonderie Team Manager will be responsible for:
- Building and piloting process roadmaps, including associated resources
- Representing the Industrial Excellence Center at TRL4-6 milestones
- Ensuring links with the Materials and Processes Competence Centers and Safran Tech
Management and Transversality
The Fonderie Team Manager will also be responsible for:
- Representing the Fonderie Center of Competence within the Safran Industrialization Network
- Ensuring the remittance of Industrial Excellence Center needs
- Animating the management instances
- Presenting the process roadmap at a high level
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Expertise in the processes implemented within their technical scope
- Knowledge of the functioning and expectations of a production plant
- General knowledge of the methods and processes of industrialization
- Knowledge of the technological maturity process (TRL)
- Project management and risk management skills

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to evolve in a multi-functional and multi-site environment

Specificity of the Job
The job requires frequent travel to different sites in the Ile-de-France region and occasional international travel to suppliers and our Chinese subsidiary.
