Barrington James is seeking a highly skilled Quantum Algorithm Researcher to join our team. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for developing and improving quantum algorithms for our upcoming quantum computers.
Key Responsibilities:- Algorithm Development: Establish and improve quantum simulations or algorithms that effectively utilize hardware capabilities.
- Collaboration: Assist industry R&D partnerships in the use of quantum simulations and algorithms for computational issues.
- Research: Conduct research on near-term quantum computing methods, either theoretically or practically, and/or in practice.
- Knowledge Transfer: Work together with subject matter experts to transform commercial issues into challenges that quantum algorithms can handle.
- Communication: Present study results in journal articles and technical talks.
- Education: Hold a PhD in theoretical computer science, theoretical physics, quantum information, quantum computation theory, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience: Have five years of research and/or work experience in the field (including a PhD).
- Skills: Have worked with partial differential equations, quantum simulation, optimization, and other real-world issues involving quantum techniques.
- Language: Write and speak English well.
