Mission

As a researcher in the Active Research and Biotechnology Service, you will participate in experiments involving cell culture in suspension (vegetal) to produce extracts with dermatological and cosmetic activities. Your goal will be to isolate the compounds responsible for these activities and identify them. This identification will enable the optimization of the production of these active ingredients.

Responsibilities

  • You will participate in sterile culture, culture follow-up (kinetics) in solid and liquid media, and solvent organic extraction.
  • You will set up an analytical follow-up to compare the phytochemical profiles of the extracts produced.
  • You will intervene in bio-guidance experiments (fractionation, activity dosing...) to focus investigations on trace molecules and optimize the desired qualities through experimental plans. A bibliographic research will be requested throughout the internship to demonstrate your ability to propose and a regular reporting and a laboratory notebook will be kept.

Who you are?

You are a Master 2 student or a final-year engineering student.

You have a specialization in biotechnology and/or experience in analytical chemistry.

You have a good command of the Office package (Powerpoint, Excel...).

You are fluent in English, particularly in writing.
