Lean Management Director

The Lean Management Director will provide operational support to various AKWEL sites, leveraging their industrial expertise to improve performance. Key objectives will be set for each assignment, and support will be required for site openings, crisis management, and temporary replacement of a Manager on a site.
Key Responsibilities- Define, develop, and improve the AKWEL Production System based on the Toyota Production System (TPS)
- Implement the system on five axes: rules, tools, managerial roles, routines, and visual management
- Coordinate actions for implementing lean methods in plants according to defined standards
- Train and coach people with workshop activities in different plants
- Check the respect and correct application of the system with regular audits
- Design and deploy training modules to help master lean methods and tools
- Lead audits and advise on actions required to improve performance and results
- Disseminate best practices across the Group
- Senior Expert manager with 15-20 years of experience and practice of the TPS or FES or VPS
- Supervisory and mentoring skills, leadership spirit, active listening skills, communication abilities, rigor, management skills, analytical and synthetic thinking, organization skills
- Proficiency in office automation tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in English; Spanish would be a plus
